Snooker’s world number one Mark Selby suffered a 6-3 first-round loss to amateur James Cahill in one of the biggest shocks in the sport’s history.

The two-time world champion tried to rally back from 5-1 down and when he made it 5-3, it looked like he was on his way back to win but Cahill played an amazing shot to pot the pink ball in frame nine to secure a famous win.

This upset victory for Cahill got us thinking about some of the biggest ever shocks in the history of sport.
